UNIVERSITY OF BALOCHISTAN CENTER OF EXCELLENCE FOR RESULT-BASED MANAGEMENT (CERBM) ANNOUNCEMENT


University of Balochistan (UoB), through Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) has established the Center of Excellence for Result Based Management (CERBM); an initiative of Planning and Development Department (P&DD), Government of Balochistan, with the support of Multi-Donor Trust Fund (MDTF), Round-II, administered by World Bank, under Grant No. TF-A3352, Contract No. PK-GPP BALOCHISTAN-71805-CS-QBS implemented by Governance and Policy Project (GPP), Balochistan. CERBM’s role is to provide a sustainable governance mechanism for a consistent and centralized roll-out of RBM initiatives. In this regard, CERBM, UoB requires applications from the residents of Balochistan, for the following positions:

POSITIONS

1. Manager (Economics)

Qualification

• 16 years of Undergraduate degree in (Economics), with First class/ 3.00 CGPA

Experience

• At least 2 years working experience in Impact assessment of development projects, monitoring, evaluation, and economic development-need assessment.

• Diagnostic, Problem-solving skills, Analytical skills, and ICT proficiency

2. Research Associate (Research & Impact Studies)

Qualification

• 16 years of Undergraduate degree in (Management Sciences / Economics), with First class/ 3.00 CGPA

Experience

• At least 1-year working experience in Research & Impact-assessment Studies, monitoring & evaluation or similar

• Organizational, Administrative skills, Project management, and ICT proficiency

3. Manager (HR and Training)

Qualification

• 16 years of Undergraduate degree in (Management Sciences / Business Administration (Preference: Specialization in HRM, Training & Development, Organizational development), with First class/ 3.00 CGPA

Experience

• At least 2 years working experience in Human Resource Management, Performance management Documentation, training & development, and talent management. • Interpersonal, decision-making skills, Critical thinking skills, Collaboration, and ICT proficiency

4. Research Associate (ICT)

Qualification

• 16 years of Undergraduate degree in (CS/IT), with First class/ 3.00 CG PA

Experience

• At least 1-year working experience in Information and Communication Technologies for development

• Software project development, using modern technologies/ frameworks; must-have skills of smartphone app development

5. Research Associate (HR & Training)

Qualification

• 16 years of Undergraduate degree in (Management Sciences (Preference: Specialization in HRM and Training & Development) with First class/ 3.00 CGPA

Experience

• At least 1-year working experience in Human Resource Management, performance management documentation, training & development and talent management.

• Communication, Organizational, Administrative skills, Project management, and ICT proficiency

6. Liaison & Investment Officer

Qualification

• 16 years of Undergraduate degree in (Management Sciences (Preference: Specialization in Finance & Accounting), with First class/ 3.00 CGPA

Experience

• At least 1-year working experience in leading, supervising and motivating a team of investment professionals

• Having an understanding of investment, risk and portfolio management • Excellent verbal and writing skills

7. Admin & Finance Officer

Qualification

• 16 years of Undergraduate degree in (Management Sciences (Preference: Specialization in Finance & Accounting) with First class/ 3.00 CGPA

Experience

• At least 1-year working experience in administrative work, file management, noting drafting, office management, developing budgets, monitoring transactions and preparing financial reports,

• Possess strong Accounting and Analytical skills, including Accounting record-keeping procedures, preparation of financial statements and other accounting documents, as per the requirements of project

8. Administrative Assistant

Qualification

• 16 years of Undergraduate degree in any field with 2.5 CGPA • Office automation certificate/diploma of minimum 04 months

Experience

• Proficiency in file management, Office Automation, record maintenance, Project management and ICT proficiency etc.


• Applicants should be residents of Balochistan

• Preference will be given to the candidates enrolled/completed MS/M.Phil, for the posts of Manager (Economics)/Manager (HR & Training)
